The second noteworthy game mode is Tournament in which up to 8 players or computer-controlled characters fight each other. In the further parts of the game you'll decide which character to choose for the next fight. Next in order are Vegeta, Frieza, Androids, and Cell. You'll start with a duel between Goku and Piccolo on Tenkaichi Budokai, before Raditz came to Earth. In Story Mode, you'll experience the most important battles from almost entire Dragon Ball Z series (excluding Buu Saga). Saga through Saiyan Saga, Frieza Saga, Androids Saga, ending with the Cell Saga conclusion. Characters and events from the game are based on Dragon Ball manga and Dragon Ball Z TV show from Piccolo Jr. The series also includes Dragon Ball Z Super Butōden 2 and Dragon Ball Z Super Butōden 3. Dragon Ball Z Super Butōden is a classic fighting game and the first part of Butōden video game series released for Super Nintendo.
